The Importance of Fighting
Before Everyone gets startled by the title, I would like to say that this post isn't meant to promote any kind of violence.
Most of us associate fighting with some sort of punching, kicking, beating the crap outta each other kinda things. But these analogies shouldn't limit the actual terminology.
Each one of us is fighting everyday. Some are fighting external stimuli but most of us are fighting something within. It is only those people who are able to conquer the enemies within are able to make something out of their lives while the rest remain the "could've been or should've been "kind.
The external enemies that a person can have are of varied types; ranging from humans, physical handicaps to family situations. But the internal enemies all of us have are in a way similar. Some of which are fear, anger, lack of confidence, sloth etc.
It is these inner enemies which we have to overcome. There is a battle going inside all of us against all these forces. People who overpower these opponents come out as champions while the rest are happy spending their lives in complacence and mediocrity.
Also, We must accept that none of us are perfect and there is scope for improvement in each of us. Only when we accept that something is wrong and needs to be fixed ,we can work towards growth. Most people are just happy living in a cocoon either not accepting problems within them that they can fix or instead start blaming external situations for their plight. This makes them feel 'protected' and keeps their 'self esteem ' high albeit due to ignorance. But people who are massive success stories be it in the field of sports, business or virtually anything; one thing that 's common between them is that they never stopped growing. And the first step towards that is accepting that you are not perfect.
Fight your fears by facing them, fight laziness through action and lack of confidence by recognising the fact that you are the sperm that won the race!
And always remember that battles are always going to be fought, you can either be a conqueror or a martyr. Both are equally laudable. But a deserter is respected neither by the outside world nor by one's own self.
